Capt. Roger Laferriere Details Oil Spill
Capt. Roger Laferriere of the U. S. Coast Guard attended the St. Tammany Parrish Oil Spill Community Forum. He brought along maps and posters to explain to the citizens where the oil was at.
Capt. Laferriere became the Commander, Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach in July of 2009. He is Incident Commander at the Houma, LA Incident Command Post. He and his men took time to answer questions of the citizens attending the Oil Spill Community Forum, Town Hall Meeting held at Slidell High School in St. Tammany Parrish.
